The Farmer Veteran Coalition of New York (FVC NY) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit chapter of the national Farmer Veteran Coalition. We formed to give New York's veterans and military families a clear path into farming, ranching, and food production, wherever they are starting from.

Our mission is to mobilize New York's veterans to feed the Empire State. We connect veterans, service members, and military families to training, funding, land access, and fellow veteran farmers in all 62 counties, whether they are exploring a first season or growing an established operation.

Our Resource Library covers every county, with the Cornell Cooperative Extension, Soil and Water Conservation District, and USDA offices that serve it. We also publish plain-language funding and tax guides and a statewide events calendar. Membership, resources, and our help are always free.
