Support NY's Veteran Farmers
Every donation helps FVC NY provide training, resources, and community to veterans farming across all 62 counties.
Your Donation Helps Us
- Start a chapter grant program for projects on veteran-owned farms
- Cover Farm Ops course fees so veterans can train without paying out of pocket
- Build a Swap Shop where members can buy, sell, and trade equipment
- Match landowners with veterans ready to keep their farms in production

Questions about tips and fees?
The optional tip: Givebutter doesn't charge us fees. Instead, at checkout it asks you for an optional tip to Givebutter. The tip goes to Givebutter, not to FVC NY, and it never comes out of your donation. If you'd rather not tip, select Other in the tip options and enter $0 before you complete your gift.
The processing fee: payment processors take a small cut of each transaction, and the form gives you the option to cover it. That's up to you. If you choose not to, Givebutter covers the fee, so your full donation still reaches us.

About Your Gift
The Farmer Veteran Coalition of New York is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 32-0850689). Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and you’ll receive an emailed receipt for your records.
Where your gift goes
FVC NY is run entirely by volunteers, with no paid staff, so donations go to programs rather than overhead. Your support helps us:
- Sponsor training. We’re working to cover veterans’ course fees for Cornell’s Farm Ops program, which offers hands-on agricultural training built for veterans.
- Build local networks. Our Resource Library connects veterans with farm offices and organizations in all 62 counties, and we’re growing volunteer outreach county by county.
- Connect veterans with land, funding, and mentors. From grants and USDA loans to land access guides and experienced farmer veterans, we help people find what they need to get started and keep going.
- Keep everything free. Membership, resources, and help from our volunteers stay free and open to every New York veteran.
Other ways to give
- By mail: send a check payable to Farmer Veteran Coalition of New York Inc., 2 Stuyvesant Oval Apt 10F, New York, NY 10009.
- Your time: join as a member and volunteer in your county.
- Your voice: share our resources with a veteran who’s thinking about farming.
