Become a Member
Joining takes two quick steps, and both are free.
1. Sign up with FVC NY. Fill out the short form below and hit Send.
2. Join FVC National. After you hit Send, a button will take you to the Farmer Veteran Coalition’s sign-up page to finish your membership. Veterans verify their service there with ID.me or a DD-214.

What you get
- Through FVC NY: our chapter newsletter brings you New York events, local funding opportunities, new resources, connections with veterans near you, and volunteer openings, so you hear about them in time to act.
- Through FVC National: once you verify your service, Veteran Membership opens the door to Farmer Veteran Coalition programs, eligibility for the Homegrown By Heroes product label, exclusive member discounts, and priority emails about opportunities.
Who can join
Membership is free. Veterans and service members of every branch and era join as Veteran Members after verifying their service. Family members, farmers, and anyone who wants to support veterans in agriculture are welcome too.
More ways to get involved
- Volunteer in your county. We’re building county-level outreach across the state and need people who know their local farm community.
- Come to an event. Our Trainings & Events calendar lists workshops, field days, and conferences statewide.
- Share what you know. Experienced farmers can help newer veterans with practical advice and mentorship.
- Support the chapter. A donation of any size helps keep our programs free.
