USDA to invest $57 million through Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program

USDA announced $57.4 million in 147 tentative awards across 40 states through the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program, pending the congressional notification period. Eligible applicants include independent meat processors, producer-owned cooperatives, Tribes, and state or local governments.
