FVC NY marks America’s 250th anniversary honoring our veteran farmers

FVCNY

This year marks the 250th anniversary of American independence, and FVC NY is honoring the occasion by recognizing the veteran farmers across New York who continue a long tradition of service, from the battlefield to the farm field.

Veterans have played a role in American agriculture since the country’s founding, and today’s veteran farmers carry that legacy forward. As an all-volunteer chapter of the national Farmer Veteran Coalition, FVC NY exists to help make that transition into agriculture possible for New York’s veterans and military families, connecting them to training, funding, land access, and a community of fellow veteran farmers in all 62 counties.

If you’re a veteran farmer in New York and want to be part of this community, we’d love to hear from you, reach out to us or explore how to get involved.
